The garden in October
Lawn seeds germinate rapidly in the still warm soil and the pressure of weeds is significantly lower.
Still a good time for plantings of all trees and shrubs as well as for boxwood and conifer hedges.
Don’t forget to pick your fruit from the trees!

Continue to mow the lawn if the grass is still growing. A short lawn is less susceptible to develop snow mould over the winter.
